Trinity Lutheran Church

Trinity is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

The Lutheran Church's founder was Martin Luther, a Catholic Priest in the 16th Century, who started out thinking God was very harsh. Through scripture and God's intervention, he realized that God is really full of love and grace toward all people. God's love and grace can be most clearly seen in God's Son Jesus. You can have a relationship with God by simply believing that the wonderful gift of Jesus is for you.

God shows himself most clearly through God's Word, (the Bible), and through baptism (the way we become part of God's family), and by eating and drinking the bread and wine (the body and blood of Christ).

Trinity started in 1946 with about 5 faithful families who wanted a Lutheran church in Polk County, Oregon

It has grown to a congregation of over 600.  Every Sunday about 200 people worship at the contemporary service at 8:50 AM and the traditional service at 11:110 AM.

Sunday School for all ages is at 10:00 AM. Childcare is available all morning, and we love children in worship!
