A day around the Dead Sea

Picture
The gondola ride to the top of Masada. The Dead Sea in the distance. In the Bible it is called the Salt Sea.
Picture
This is the room at Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were written. The Dead Sea Scrolls were portions of the Older Testament written during the time of Christ. The oldest and most complete scrolls we have.
Picture
This is an old Israel temple in the south of Israel or Negev. Our group is next to the "Holy of Holies". A replica of the 10 commandments made in King David's day was found here. It is now in a museum.
