WHAT WE BELIEVE
Father + Son + Holy Spirit
We confess the apostolic faith in Jesus Christ according to the Holy Scriptures. We affirm the authority of the Scriptures as the authoritative source and norm, “according to which all doctrines should and must be judged” (Formula of Concord).
The Holy Trinity is a foundational doctrine of belief in the Christian Church. The Three Persons of the Trinity- Father, Son & Holy Spirit- are not three Gods but One. It is the Trinity that creates, redeems, and sanctifies. Out of the love for the Trinity all of creation,
including each of us, was fashioned, redeemed and will be healed and restored.
We accept the ecumenical creeds and the Lutheran Confessions as true witnesses to the Word of God.
We believe that the mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel and to make disciples for Christ.
We affirm the ecumenical creeds and the faithful witness of the Church across time and space. We endorse the form and practices of the universal Church that are consistent with Scripture, particularly the office of the ministry and the tradition of worship under
Word and Sacrament.
As a congregation that bear this name- we are called to gather in love, grow deeper in faith, and serve as we are sent into our community!

2020 Vision
To ensure long-term vitality and fruitfulness for our congregations, we must constantly adapt and expand the reach of Jesus Christ by carrying out Christ’s Great Commission. GROW places importance on our ability to expand and mature as congregations of the NALC.
